Teona Chanishvili’s Covid-19 Lockdown (2020) is a series of impressions that depict life during the COVID-19 pandemic under physical-distancing guidelines. The impressions are deeply familiar yet reveal the nuanced ticks of lockdown—losing track of time, liminal spaces, and increased internet usage to make connections. The images seem to demand stillness, while they continue to deliver in their simple, yet powerful details.
