In The Process of Paint (2021), Jennie Thwing explores the intersection between traditional art, sound, and animation. Installation elements were created using paper, paint, clay, and plaster while the audio is a collage of natural sounds mirroring the movement of the materials on the projected screen. A circular frame on screen displays abstract layers and movements of paints and cut papers, creating an immersive environment.
